OUR GOAT FAMILY

Copper Moon is a "triple threat" producer. Our operation is a blend of commercial, percentage, and fullblood Boer goats to cover different aspects of the market. Our operation originally started out with commercial does selling directly to market, but over the years we have developed a strong percentage and fullblood lineup. Our strategy allows us to deliver everything from the highly sought after breedstock, to award winning FFA/4H fair projects, to the highest quality market wethers.

Copper Moon's operation is comprised of 3 fullblood bucks and around 30 commercial, percentage, and fullblood breeding does. However, when kidding season is in full swing our total number of goats on site can be as high as 70-80 head.

The goal of Copper Moon Boer Goats is to raise commercial, percentage and fullblood Boer goats that display the best available genetic characteristics and deliver the highest quality meat for market while caring for our herd as if they were our own pets. We want to spread knowledge of what we have learned in the business to others who are just starting and share information with other people who have been in the business with us for years.
